R&D Engineering & Operations Engineering Rotation Program + Direct Hire Opportunities!
 
 
Tyco Electronics is looking to hire R&D engineers (研发工程师) and Operations engineers (运营工程师) to accelerate students learning experience to build up a strong talents pipeline for R&D engineering and operations engineering. Opportunities include our 3T Program as well as direct-hire entry-level positions.
 
We are looking for candidates for a variety of engineering roles within our organization. Positions will be based in a variety of locations across China.

 
3T Program Outline 3T项目简介
24-month development program
Headcount belongs to Corp while the participants are pre-assigned to a BU with a specific final location but no specific role will be decided yet
Rotate on different functions with product area focus to build up a broad perspective on operation and engineering
Participants experience different rotations across one business unit (with exposure to an additional business unit) over 24 months
At the conclusion of the program, participants move to their predetermined final assignment. Final assignments are within the business unit that the participant has been rotating in.

Application Requirements 应聘要求
Eligible candidates will graduate between March 2010 and July 2010 with 0 - 2 years industry experience (prior Internship/Co-op or work experience related to degree, preferred) and meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred but other engineering degrees considered as applicable.
A minimum GPA in major of 3.0/4.0.
Ranking in Top 10% ~ Top 15%.
Strong oral and written English capability is must.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Pro/E software is must.
Prior experience, including at least one prior internship or co-op work experience related to degree or position is preferred.
Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is a plus.
Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts is preferred.
Knowledge of other language is preferred.
Strong PC skills including Excel are required.
Willingness to submit to a drug screen and successfully pass.
Willingness to submit to a background check.
Proper documentation to show eligibility to work in Wholly-owed Corporation.

3T Program is designed to provide participants with an accelerated experience in a variety of our businesses who rely on innovative engineering or manufacturing engineering, with an exposure to multiple business units and facilities. The program consists of rotations in different areas such as R&D Engineering in Automotive, Network Solutions, CIS and Specialty Products, Operations Engineering in Tool Design, Machine Automation, Materials Planning and Procurement, each accompanied by a robust technical and leadership curriculum. At the conclusion of the two year program, participants will be candidates for R&D engineering roles or Manufacturing engineering roles across the company. 3T Program will build the future operational leadership of Tyco Electronics.
 
金秋十月，在2010校园招聘进行得如火如荼的时候，Tyco Electronics整合全球资源，同步推出泰科电子明日之星培养项目--"3T项目（TE Tomorrow Talent）"。
入选的学生将面向运营（Operations）和研发（Engineering）两个方向，在拟订目标地区之后，在公司指定的培训基地，经过历时24个月的全面培养。
在24个月中，3T项目将结合公司高层和资深工程师人员，使入选学生获得全方位综合的工作和学习体验，其中包括在指定事业部的不同地区、不同岗位间的轮职和专业知识技能培训，进入成为精英工程师的快速通道。项目结束后，参与3T项目的学生回到最初拟定的工作地区，根据自身特点和兴趣并结合公司需求从而获得最终所属事业部的工作机会。
