ORGANIZATION
Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), an international non-profit membership and consulting organization, is dedicated to helping its clients implement and promote sustainable development in China and around the world. Over the last two decades, BSR has leveraged its industry knowledge, research expertise, and relationships with governments, corporations and non-profits to make Corporate Social Responsibility an attainable and fundamental part of modern business.
Headquartered in San Francisco, BSR has offices in Guangzhou, Beijing, Hong Kong, Paris, and New York. Its focus in Guangzhou consists of working with international brands and their suppliers to improve labor, safety, and environmental practices, including migrant labor, child labor, excessive overtime, workplace health and safety, energy efficiency and water use.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Intern (BJ) will assist in the Manager to conduct research and collect information and news on public companies and provide consulting to financial institutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Support
 Collect public listed companies’ news from public domain, including western and Chinese media, blogs, NGOs, etc.
 Research, select and summarize news content and provide news reports as financial sector’s client requested.
 Conduct environmental, social and government related issue researches and develop reports
 Help with translation on news and research.
 Take ownership for all logistical preparation for all relate consulting and events
 Other duties as required and assigned by the Manager.

REQUIREMENTS
 Bachelor degree
 Strong written English
 Financial Services related experience is a plus
 High ethical standards and commitment to BSR’s core values of Leadership, Integrity and Respect
 Good communication skills
 Energetic, self-motivated, positive nature, and pro-active approach, including the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy office setting
 Demonstrated proficiency in basic office software and tools (e.g., excel spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint, etc.)
 1-3 years of work experience is a plus
